On Friday, June 3 the students of BEST along with 300 students from other neighbouring schools gathered on our fields to celebrate aboriginal culture. We listened to stories, drumming and dancing. We ate bannock for snack and examined artifacts from a museum. We saw various tipis and saw how they erected and dismantled them. The day ended with a giant circle dance with over 700 people. An amazing day of learning and fun.
