Well we set our traps and tried to catch him but as you can see by the photos below....we didn't have any luck. He tricked and toyed with us for days. The children enjoyed and looked forward each morning to more mischief. Alas he left us with a small pot of gold on St. Patrick's day and a thank you for all the fun! We will have to wait until next year to try to capture the little devil.
If you hadn't heard already, our classroom has been overrun by a very mischievous leprechaun. He has managed to escape our traps and has been playing various tricks on us. He has hidden all of our inside shoes, left green footprints everywhere, put potatoes in our traps and even put the Barbie horse way up on the speaker. I hope we catch him soon...Mrs. Farber is getting tired of the mess he leaves behind.
