Mrs. George joined us at the river to share with us a story. Later we joined her in some drumming and singing. Some of our friends taught us some songs too. It was a wonderfully warm and sunny afternoon.
We weren't sure that heading down to the river was a great idea after all the overcast, chilly and wet weather we had this week. We took a chance though and the sun decided to come out and bless us with its warmth. Mrs. Bowden led us in some measurement activities (find sticks that are long, short, heavy, light or find sticks that are the same length as your foot, your arm). Lots of learning going on.
