Wow! What a busy week! The children had a lot of fun on Friday. With all of the activities going on, Mrs. Farber didn't have a lot of time to take pictures so I apologize for not capturing everything. We joined Mrs. Bowden's class in the morning for science experiments. Next, we had a special snack courtesy of our friends. Yum! After recess, we split into mixed grade groupings and played Hallowe'en games in the gym, made a spider web craft and learned how to make a lava lamp. Whew! After lunch we had a little rest then more friends had goodies to share with us. We paraded through the school looking at all the wonderful and imaginative costumes and ended the day with a dance in the gym. Happy Hallowe'en!
Turns out Mrs. Bowden got a few photos of the science experiments. Thanks to Annabelle's mom for all the materials and great ideas! Much appreciated by all.
The grade sixes came on Tuesday to help us carving our pumpkins. We enjoyed their help. Mrs. Bowden's class joined us as well. Lucky it was fairly warm and dry so we could go outside.
We had a great time at Sunset Valley Farms on Monday. I am not sure if the children enjoyed the bus ride more or the pumpkin patch. I love all the big smiles though. Thanks to the parents who were able to join us.
