Hope you all had a nice break and spent lots of time eating good food and spending time with friends and family. We have settled back into the routines well and are ready to get learning. This week we started learning some new words (this, is, my, hi). We practised playing dice games where we added to dice together. We learned different ways to make groups of 6 -10 (tally marks, number sentences, dots on ten frames). We are continuing to learn how to recognize words that rhyme and are starting to change the initial sound in words to create new rhyming words. We did some experiments with snow and created some imaginative snow people.
